Subscribe to a Solution is going on NOW!

The Food Bank envelopes were in the Dothan Eagle on Friday, June 23, but you don’t need an envelope if you’d like to donate. You can make a donation right here on the web site and put “Subscribe to a Solution” in the memo line to support this fundraiser. We’d like to thank the Dothan Eagle for supporting the Food Bank and we look forward to reporting the results of this annual fundraiser soon. Thank you to the news team for writing the story and taking the photo. Thank you to the Circulation Department and every newspaper carrier who stuffed an envelope into the newspaper and delivered it. And last, but certainly not least, thank you to everyone who stuffed an envelope with a donation and mailed it to the Food Bank. We appreciate your support!

Food Bank benefits from Publix  ”Food For Sharing” Campaign

Publix recently delivered 18,708 pounds of food to the Wiregrass Food Bank as part of the Publix “Food For Sharing” Campaign. The food will provide 14,616 meals to help feed the hungry in Houston, Henry, Dale, Coffee, Geneva, and Barbour Counties in the Wiregrass. The food comes from drives during the spring and fall, when donation cards representing three predesigned levels of giving are made available to Publix customers at the checkout. Once the customer selects a donation level, the cashier scans the card and the amount is added to the customer’s total order. Thank you, Publix, and thank you, Publix customers for supporting the Food Bank and helping us to carry out our mission!IMG_4989 FullSizeRender IMG_4986
