The Wiregrass Area Food Bank feeds the needy of Southeast Alabama through member agencies by: soliciting, procuring and distributing excess food and grocery products; developing and monitoring agency networks; and cultivating community awareness and participation. The Food Bank stores food and distributes it to agencies feeding the needy in a six-county service area that includes Houston, Henry, Dale, Geneva, Coffee and Barbour counties. To donate food to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank, you can: drop off your donation at 382 Twitchell Road in Dothan, visit a food drive or fundraiser, or call the Food Bank at 334-794-9775 to schedule a food pickup.

To make a monetary donation, you can send a check or money order to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank, 382 Twitchell Road, Dothan, AL 36303, or click on the “Donate” link below. If you’d like to designate your donation, please include a note with your check or email the Food Bank at donor@wiregrassfoodbank.com. If you’d like to make a donation to celebrate an occasion, to honor a loved one, or in memory of a loved one, the Food Bank will be happy to send an acknowledgement card to the honoree or a member of their family. Brown Bag Program

If you’d like to help the Brown Bag program, there are several ways to do so. You can help by sponsoring program participants, hosting a food drive to benefit the Brown Bag program, volunteering at a distribution site, volunteering to deliver groceries to homebound individuals, or helping to find additional sources of donated food, especially fresh produce. To make a donation to the Brown Bag Program, please mail checks made payable to the Brown Bag Program to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank at 382 Twitchell Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
